likes; blue skies, the smell of air after a thunderstorm, his guitar, writing music, mellow lowland scotch whisky, anything spontaneous, running, singing karaoke, cinema pick'n'mix
dislikes; feeling like he's going nowhere, people who don't meet your gaze when they speak to you, self-checkouts, 3D tv, the drunks he has to throw out of the bar, guys who don't respect women
fears; Never making it anywhere.
overall personality; On the surface, Will seems to be cheeky, good-humoured and quick-witted. He appears to be up for anything, and have a consistently positive outlook on life, as well as always having a listening ear. But behind his well maintained happy facade is a man who has thrown away everything in order to pursue his dream, and is terrified of seeing nothing in return. He worries about what people think of him, how he acts, how he dresses, and his fear is what defines him, and holds him back from actually pursuing his dream. Instead of getting out there, playing his music, he spends night after night serving drinks and clearing up in the bar, pretending he is just biding his time, when deep down he knows that until he breaks out of his cycle of fear and pre tense, L.A. will never hear the real Will Montgomery.

history; Will was born in the suburbs, to the most wonderful parents. Growing up, he wanted for nothing, and they supported him in everything he did. That is, until he decided to turn down the football scholarship he was offered in order to try to make it as a musician. Naturally, they were somewhat opposed to that.
So, leaving the financial support (if not complete emotional support - they still loved him, regardless) of his parents, he made the move to L.A. to try and get onto the first rung of the ladder. Five years later, and Will is still working at the same bar, renting the same tiny apartment, and has apparently gone nowhere with his life. But how much of that is really down to the dog-eat-dog world of music, and how much is down to Will's inability to actually support himself?
