Whitney had a special date today. Not with a boy but with a new friend. Bailey and Whitney had a lot in common. It was as if they we're almost twins. They had both been living the dream of their parents and decided to live their own and make bigger names from their selves in the acting world. This was a start of a great friendship.
Whitney was meeting Bailey at the mall for a manicure and pedicure. This girl time was much needed for Whitney. She was relatively new to fame and didn't have a bunch of famous friends to hang out with. Whitney had always been really busy ever since she was discovered and didn't have much time for old friends she grew up with. When she got the chance to see them she took it of course.
Pushing through the mall entrance doors Whitney went searching for the spa inside the mall. Whitney wasn't too concerned of what she looked like today. She was just going to get her nails and toe nails done. She looked cute yet casual. Her hair was in a messy bun with Lauren Conrad braids on the side. A few pieces of blonde locks dangled down in her face. Her make-up was light and her outfit was a striped half sleeved shirt and a pair of skinny jeans. It was quite simple.
After getting lost several times in the gigantic mall she had finally found the place. Even though she grew up in LA Whitney didn't go to this mall. She went to the smaller one closer to the air port. Whitney was a little early so she wasn't worried about her not showing. Whitney waited for Bailey very patiently. She was kind of stoked to see how today would turn out. Hopefully not a disaster. Surely, everything would be just fine.

She shut the door to her car with a gentle push and slid her sunglasses up to push her hair out of her face. Bailey let out a deep breath, hoping to cool herself down in this California sun, though nothing different from Arizona summers. She was excited; finally having someone to talk to that was here was a new concept. She'd been calling her friends back home on her boring nights, but it never quite sufficed.
They were so alike, her and Whitney. They both lived their lives for their parent's hopes and wishes and were now finally breaking free of that mold. Finally, someone who had the same goals and back story as herself, someone she could compare herself to.
Bailey broke out of her daydream of comparisons and slung her purse over her shoulder, rushing up the steps to the mall. She'd dressed casually, a pair of shorts and a racerback tank top with a pair of gladiator sandals. She glanced at the directory, realizing that this mall was nothing like the small Prescott mall she was used to, and looked for the nail salon. She pulled her glasses off of her head and tossed them into her purse, replacing them with her cell phone in hand. She brushed her bangs aside, more of a habit than anything.
She arrived to her destination within ten minutes, glancing around for Whitney with a friendly smile on her face.

Whitney spotted Bailey in the corner of her eye. She waved at her while approaching her. "Hey Bailey, ready to get our nails done?" Whit asked her. ”Thanks for coming today. Girl time is much needed for me.” She grinned. The lady led the way to the back where they would be getting their pedicures done first then their manicures. Whitney sunk into the comfortable chair and grabbed a magazine she would read while her toes would be getting done.
"So how is life going for you? What’s been going on girl?" She asked Bailey. Whitney was curious to know what was going on in her life. Whatever it was, it was probably much more interesting then what Whitney's was. There was no romance, no drama, no nothing. The most exciting thing was her new movie she was shooting with Chance. That had been about the only thing. You would think being famous and all you would be having all these one night stands, party every night, premieres, and everything else on the list that famous people did. But Whitney was different. She didn't really do any of that. She focused on her career more than any of the other stuff. It wasn't that she was boring; it was because she was still new to the fame.
Whitney pondered some of the things that were in the magazine. What the heck was she wearing? How is he so handsome? Who does her hair and make-up? Did she really say that about her? Her thoughts were interrupted when the lady asked her what she wanted. "I would like a French tip pedicure." She replied politely with a slight smile she wore on her lips. Her green eyes peered over at Bailey as if it was her turn to tell the lady what she wanted.
