His move at the beach with Felix had been a bit of a gamble but he was willing to try it. After all, it had been awhile since he had been challenged by a girl at all so it was a rather refreshing and kind of welcomed experience. A smile was on his face as he sped down the street in his pitch black Lamborghini that he had recently purchased after he had finished filming his last movie. He had to say, he was quite in love with this car. It was his baby. When he finally reached the pier, he parked the car and climbed out, grabbing his leather jacket out of the passengers seat and locking the car behind him as he headed towards the pier. The rides were all lit up and the sun had gone down awhile ago making the lights of the rides reflect off the soft waves of the ocean below the wooden boards that held the entire amusement park up.
A cool breeze brushed past Chance and he tugged on his jacket, the night air quite a bit cooler than the scorching heat of the day. He was dressed in a pair of worn jeans, Nike's and a plain blue colored t shirt that fit his pecs a bit tighter than the rest of his body. His short blonde hair wasn't spiked like it normally was but was a bit messy like he usually wore it. Putting his hands on his pocket, he headed a few feet onto the pier, passing a couple of booths and a ride before he stopped and headed away from the hustle and bustle of the park to the ledge that wrapped around the entire pier. His light blue eyes looked out at the ocean and he absent mindedly smiled for a moment before turning around to lean his back against the railing as he waited to see if Felix was going to show or not.
Her iPod was tucked safely inside the hidden pocket on the inside of his leather jacket and he smiled a bit, remembering his scheme. He wasn't sure how he was going to play this but he did know one thing he was going to try and do tonight but he if he didn't play it right then she would most likely hate him forever and all of the work he had put into her so far would have been for nothing. But taking chances was what he did. Hell. His name was Chance. Doesn't get much better than that.

To say the least, Felix was annoyed. She had played his game but she hadn't bargained for him to steal something of hers and hold it ransom. Yeah, she could have dealt without that part. But, she couldn't deny that she saw his angle. It had forced her to show up to the pier but that did not mean she was going to be all prettied up, making him think she wanted to impress him.
Pulling up to the pier in her Thing, Felix pulled up the convertible top and locked the old beach buggie, exposing her very casual outfit of a hoodie and a pair of shorts. She had put on a bit of mascara but left the eyeliner and all else off, deciding that she was only looking to appear decent and not hot or sexy in any way. The message was going to be loud and clear: she wanted her i-pod back. No more, no less. So with that thought in mind, the dark haired teen marched her way along the brightly lit boardwalk. All around her was noise, children laughing and rides running, games playing. It was a comfortable atmosphere, not to mention that it was completely different than everything she knew back in Tulsa.
Her steps were light, her flip-flops flipping and flopping with each step she took, and her dark eyes scanning the area for her i-pod captor. It wasn't long until she saw him, standing there in his leather jacketed glory waiting for her. A breeze blew past her and for a moment she shivered, knowing she should have opted for a pair of jeans instead like her blond hostage keeper.
Quickly, she made her way towards Chance, a slight hint of annoyance at having to meet him under these conditions gracing her features. She stopped before him and crossed her arms over her chest, the wind blowing her dark hair into her face a bit. She didn't care though, she simply stood and waited, not bothering with a friendly greeting. All she had to say was, "Where's my i-pod, Caine?'

Chance didn't notice Felix until she had come to stand in front of him, an annoyed look on her face and her arms crossed over her chest as she asked him where her iPod was. A smile spread across his face as he saw her, glad that she had shown up after all. Standing up straight, he looked down at her with a grin before replying.
"Don't worry, it's safe... for now. But there's some things you've got to do if you wanna get it back." he replied, crossing his arms over his chest as well. As he spoke, he slowly started to back away from her, heading towards one of the booths that sold the tickets for all of the rides and games.
When he was finished speaking, he turned around and headed over to the ticket booth, not waiting to see if she was following him or not. He knew she would be, especially if she had gone to the trouble of coming all the way out here to get her iPod back. He figured she wasn't going to leave without it. He knew that if he were in her shoes he wouldn't.
As he came to the window, he smiled at the older lady working it and pulled out his wallet before pointing to one of the packages that gave you an unlimited amount of tickets. The lady smiled and took the money he handed her before handing him two hot pink plastic bracelets. Thanking the lady, Chance turned away from the booth and came over to stand in front of Felix.
"Can you get it on by yourself or do you want some help." he asked her, a smirk on his face and a teasing tone to his voice as he handed her the second bracelet for her to put on. He put his own on and snapped it so it wouldn't fall off before raising his light blue eyes to look at her, waiting for her to put her bracelet on as well before he spoke again.

The smirk on his lips made her all the more annoyed, especially when he crossed his own arms over her chest mimicking her own stance. Quickly, Felix moved her arms and put them to her sides a bit of a scowl crossing her lips. She pursed them tightly, eyeing him curiously when he told her that she would have to do a few things before she could get her i-pod back. She hadn't signed on for that but, as far as Felix could tell, she didn't have much of a choice.
Reluctantly, she followed him toward the ticket booth and waited for him to finish his conversation with the woman. When he turned back to her, he was holding two bright pink bracelets that signified an unlimited amount of tickets, showing Felix only that she would probably have to wait a very long time before getting her i-pod back. She sighed, annoyance getting the better of her.
"Yes, I know how to put it on." she said, snatching the bracelet from his hand and struggling for a moment to put it on herself. Luckily, she didn't struggle too much with it and after a moment was able to snap the little button inside the hole, helping herself feel accomplished and assuring that she didn't look like a complete fool to the movie star before her. When she finished fastening the bracelet, she looked up to him, asking with her eyes what was next. As far as Felix was concerned, she just wanted to get this over with and pretend like she was having as little fun as possible. Even she couldn't deny that a night of riding colorfully lit rides and playing games for prizes would be fun, despite the slightly cocky company.
Slowly, Felix let her gaze drift to the surroundings. It really was breathtaking, all of the rides lighting up and reflecting brightly over the quiet ocean below. The beach was lit with the colors of the pier as well, which almost made her want to go see it up close. But, her feet stayed firmly planted against the wooden boardwalk. Running off to the beach wouldn't get her the i-pod back and it would probably be a lot less fun than riding a bunch of rides...not that she would let Chance know that though.

Once they had both secured the bracelets onto their wrists, he took her hand and led her over to the nearest game which was the one where you stand behind the line and have to throw a baseball at the wooden jars standing up on the pedestal. A smile spread across Chance's face as he saw what the game was because he just so happened to have played football all through high school. He was good too, probably could have gone pro if he hadn't gotten into acting first. Being the starting quarterback had been a good gig for him but he was glad that he had chosen acting though, he really did love doing it and he was good at it so why not make money at what you are good at.
As the two of them stepped up to the booth, Chance took the two seperate buckets of balls that they were each to use. Each of them had three balls to throw and they had to knock all of the jars down to win a big prize and at least one down to win a small prize. As he handed her one bucket, he set his down on the counter and gestured for her to go.
"Ladies first." he declared, a smirk on his face as he stepped out of the way so she could stand behind the line and through the balls she had. His light blue eyes watched her as he waited for her to begin and he crossed his arms over his chest before leaning his shoulder against the side of the booth as he waited.
Chance was hoping that she would let loose a bit and have fun with him but he wasn't so sure if that would happen or not. He wanted it to but she had been kind of uptight the whole time he had known her and he was hoping it was only because she was busy trying to make sure he didn't know she was having fun or actually enjoying hanging out with him. A smile spread across his face as he tilted his chin up a bit and glanced over at the man who was running the booth before returning his gaze to her once again. Raising his brows a bit, he waited for her to make her throws before he would go and show her how it was done.

Felix reluctantly allowed her thin body to be dragged away to the first event, following as far behind him as she could with her hand lazily attached to his. All the while, she couldn't help but notice how much larger his hands were than hers. Once they arrived at the first booth, Felix smirked. she had never been too into sports but she had always been good at them and she supposed, she had to be at least a steady hand while helping mechanic back home. That had always come in hand for her.
So, the first game was to knock over the bottles with one throw of the baseball? It seemed easy enough. And she had three chances to sink them in, each chance guaranteeing her some sort of prize. So, confidently she took the bucket from chances hands, the yellow plastic container swinging lightly as she snatched it from him. Felix gently placed the pail down on the booth and let her hands feel the roughness of the aged baseballs. A small smile played on her pink lips as she grabbed one and readied herself to throw it. She eyed the pins carefully, sizing them up and focusing for just a moment before aiming and letting the ball loose.
With a surprising accuracy, the ball struck the small stack of wooden bottles dead on, knocking them all over and earning and excited jump from Felix herself. She honestly hadn't planned on knocking them all over. She figured she could get most of them but probably have to use her second ball to knock the rest over. However, she had hoped for a complete strike, at least being able to show Chance that she was not the little girl he guessed her to be. So far, it was looking pretty well on her part for that one.
Stepping to the side, she eyed Chance with a pleased look on her face. Perhaps this night wouldn't be too terrible. With a proud sound to her voice, she motioned with her arms for him to step up to the plate so that she could claim her prize. "Beat that, champ." she teased, leaning her small body against the side of the booth as she waited for him to knock the pins over as successfully as she had. She didn't doubt that he could do it but still, she felt proud that she had been able to.

As she took her time getting all lined up for her shot, he teasingly pretended to look at his non existant watch before flashing her an amused grin. When she did finally throw the first ball, all of the wooden jars were knocked over with the very first hit. Raising his eyebrows in surprise, he slowly clapped his hands together before pushing himself up and away from the side of the booth he had been leaning up against a moment ago.
"Very impressive Arroyo." he replied, taking one of the balls out of his bucket and heading over to the line that she had been standing at moments earlier. A smile was on his face as he took his position. His light blue eyes glanced over at her and they remained locked on her as he threw his first ball and just missed hitting the top jar. A look of fake frustration crossed his face and he went back and grabbed another ball before heading back towards the line. When he got back to where he was suppose to throw from, he pointed the hand that held the ball at her.
"You're going to have to turn around or something cause you're distracting me. And that's cheating." he replied, his expression serious as he spoke but a teasing smile spreading across his face as he finished. Getting ready to throw his next ball, he looked at the jars as he prepared to throw it again but at the last second, he glanced over at her and the ball went sailing much to far to the right, missing all the jars but almost hitting the man running the stand. When the man looked at Chance with a warning look on his face, Chance put an innocent look on his face and pointed to Felix.
Grabbing his last ball, he took aim and threw the ball really fast before he got a chance to look over at Felix and was able to knock one of the jars off. Shrugging, he walked over to where Felix was standing by the booth and the man told her she could pick a big price and he only got a little one. As she looked over the big prizes, he looked over the little ones before finally picking out a pair of hot pink shutter sunglasses. Putting them on, he turned back to face her, waiting for her to pick her prize.
"What do you think. Is pink my color?" he asked her, a serious expression on his face before he raised his brows and a smirk spread across his face.
